are the floors in brown college coed?
if so, is it just one mens and one womens bathroom per floor

yes they are co-ed. not sure how many restrooms… think it is 2 big ones per floor

like each restroom has multile sinks, showers and toilets

Every floor at Rice is coed (except for the ones that have, like, one room), and none of the bathrooms are.

In old brown where there aren’t suites, there are 2 bathrooms each floor (male & female), 3 stalls/showers each except for 2nd, where there are 2 stalls/showers each because one of the stalls/showers is GIANT and handicap-friendly.

I think there’s a corner suite on each floor (201, 301, 401, etc…) that have private bathrooms/showers, but don’t quote me on that.

Aren’t 3 showers/stalls not enough per floor? Do people usually have to wait in line to take a shower?

It’s actually 6 showers/stalls per floor, and since there are about 24 people per floor (I think), that winds up being a shower for every 4 people, which is pretty much the standard shower-to-person ratio. Four-person suites have one shower, and that works out just fine. You have to remember that in college, not everyone has to get up at the same time for classes.

yeah. ill try to post a basic floorplan as soon as I can
