I applied to 5 Universities as a transfer student for the Fall 2012 semester.

I also studied abroad this year in Southern Mexico. This was heavily incorporated into my application essays, because I want to become a Portfolio Manager, and specialize in Socially Conscious Investing. My time in Mexico was spent studying the effects of NAFTA and the globalization of capitalism, especially on the indigenous population.

My accounting professor and sociology professor (who is also a professor at Cornell) wrote my letters. Both were outstanding.

What are my chances?

Thanks!

Bump. Anyone?

Bump. Nothing?

Okay I know there’s a lot of threads almost identical to this one, and posting advice isn’t always fun, but can’t anyone give me feedback?

I really want to post feedback to help you, but I don’t know anything about those schools. Sorry, mate. You seem good to me.

To be honest, I don’t think you’ll have a great shot at Brown. It’s a very tough school to get into. I mean, don’t be deterred by me, but I don’t see it as very likely.

You might get into Cornell if your essays were good. Boston University seems plausible too!

As for the others…I don’t know anything about them, so I can’t help you there XD
