anyone? 10char

I think you will be a good competitor for any of the schools you listed. You should get into BU and BC.

Were you a NMSQT Hispanic Scholar?

Your SAT Reasoning is on the low-side for Brown (esp. that 1600 score); hopefully you did as well as you are predicting on your retake. As your extracurriculars are predominately comprised of various Honor Societies, they seem unimpressive and weaken your chances.

But on the other hand, your grades, rank and strength of schedule are all excellent.

With the ED, Brown will be a medium reach, although you are by no means out of the running. Hopkins is a low reach, BC/Tufts are low reaches / high matches and BU is a target.

Thanks for your input.
Yes, I was a National Hispanic Scholar, and this past SAT went perfectly for me because the verbal and math were easier than the writing (which I did not need to improve), in my opinion.
Also, do those honor societies look unimpressive because being inducted is more like an award? Because those aren’t just certificates for my refridgerator; we actually do things in those clubs.

bump 10char

Pretty amazing extracurriculars. Those will take you far. Your SAT score is, as mentioned, a bit on the low side, but I think those ECs will more than make up for it.

Good luck! Chance back.

Thanks
Chanced back!

Bump 10char

Anyone else?

A couple more?

Brown ED - Ivies are a reach for everyone, but it’s definitely possible for you.
Tufts - Low Reach/High Match
Hopkins - High Match
BC - Low Reach/High Match
BU - Target

ECs, essays, and scores look pretty nice and substantial. May the force be with you!

Could you chance back?

Thanks
Chanced you back, although I don’t know anything about Stern :/

October sat scores tomorrow

New SAT scores give me a 2270 superscore (710R, 770M, 790W)
