I definitely think you have a good chance at Brown, you probably could have gotten in without early decision actually

Thanks for chancing (again), lol. I think I’ve already chanced you.

As I think I said before, you have a very good shot. No one is guaranteed anything at schools of this level, but I think you’ll get in.

@Edgware: ROFL I’m really sorry haha. I thought that your second chance thread seemed really familiar. Thanks for taking the time to chance me again :)

Great academics and fantastic EC’s. Also the research hours are very impressive. All in all you have an excellent chance.

EXCELLENT chance! everything on your application is great, from your ECs to the fact that you’re a legacy, best of luck! Let us know how you fare!

EC’s are outstanding. You’re missing something big-- dedication to a single goodwill project, but i think everything else outweighs this. I’m going to go ahead and say it’s a MATCH.

SAT II’s ?

@maserrano: Since I submitted my ACT and no SAT, I’m not required to send subject tests to Brown I spend most of my time volunteering and inventing, and did my best to showcase that in my app. Thanks for chancing back!

@doctorje24: Thanks for your kind words, and I might do an actual results thread!

@anomaly125: Thanks for chancing back! Good luck to you!

@Farsheezy, readyset, & Number4: Thanks for your inputs!

Well, I think I already chanced you yesterday. I still think you have really good chance getting in. I have two friends who are currently attending Brown, who are very intelligent. But their stats weren’t as impressive as yours. So I’d say it’s a low reach for you.

Great ACT, research, ECs, gpa, etc. etc. But after all you wrote about your accomplishments, this last line is what guarantees to get in:
My son had very similar stats, but he was deferred. He did not have any hook. His clarinet playing was not outstanding. He was not URM, or from a URstate, or legacy.

yea you got this lol

Your stats are great and your list of EC’s are very impressive. Although Brown is pretty much a reach for most people, I’d say you’re a good candidate. Don’t be disappointed if you don’t get in because with what you have, you should be able to get into a lot of great schools.

I’d say: low-reach/match
your legacy status with undoubtedly give you an edge.
goodluck!!

it is hard for anyone to get into these schools. however, you have great extracurriculars and academics, so i’d say you have a great chance of getting in

i would say no doubt you’re in… but thats just me

Thanks for taking the time to chance back guys! Good luck!

Wow! I definitely think you have a a good chance at getting into Brown!
I hope you make it!

Granted Ivies are never guarantees, but I think it’s safe to say that you should have very little trouble. Your ECs are stellar and express quality and quantity, not just one. Congrats

you have a great chance, especially being a legacy

You have a dazzling set of extra-curricular activities.
32 ACT may not be too competitive, but you have a very high shot of getting in.
Congrats!

You’re in. lmao, that’s some awesome EC’s. How do you manage to do AP work and the ECs?! If you were black dude… you’d be set :D
