<p>Hello, I am applying Brown ED in less than a month and I just want to know about where i stand.</p>

<p>Brother went to Brown so some legacy factor.
Public High School in rural area in Kentucky.
Male Caucasian </p>

<p>Stats:
ACT 31 Composite
29 English
34 Math
26 Reading
34 Science</p>

<p>4.0 GPA
Rank 1 of 225 or so
8 AP classes before Senior Year (Statistics Online, World, US, Microeco Online, Macroeco Online, English Language, Studio Art, Calculus AB)
6 AP Classes Senior Year (Calculus BC online, Euro, English lit, Chem online, Physics and Art-2-D Design)</p>

<p>EC’s:
Academic Team/Quizbowl 4 years (Co-captain 3 years); Regional Placement (Soph and Junior) State Placement (Junior)
Art Club 4 years (President 3 years)
Beta Club (convention testing, Junior)
Hundreds of Service hours helping younger Academic Teams (middle and elementary schools)

Summer@Brown past summer for a 2 week course</p>

<p>Recs should be good, great english teacher should write one, the other should be okay</p>

<p>Counselor Rec should be decent, nothing extraordinary </p>

<p>Essays should be really good, having brother who has a masters in english reviewing them, as well as teachers and others. </p>

<p>What do you think my chances for ED are?

<p>i think you have really good chances considering your gpa, class rank, and decent ACT score as well as your legacy and early decision application. the only weak part i see is no sports related EC’s. but i don’t know if that plays a big role in the application. very nice amount of AP’s too + online ones which shows motivation. good luck! i’m applying ED too. and i also went to summer@brown this past summer!</p>
