<p>So I applied ED to Brown today…and as I look over last years stats I am starting to get more and more worried. I know that Brown is a major reach for anyone these days, and it really depends a lot on how your application package is viewed as a whole. So, I was wondering if I could get any feedback? Do I even have a shot?</p>
<p>I go to a small public charter school…
GPA: 4.0/4.0 (unweighted) 4.33 Weighted (as high as possible for the classes I had to take)
Act: 29 (I recently re-took it and think I got at least a 30)
SAT II: US history: 720, LIT: 640
My school does not offer AP classes
Taken every possible honors class available to me
Senior Courses:
-Mandarin 3 (honors)
-Calculus (honors)
-English (Honors)
-Visual arts (no honors offered)
-Art (no honors offered)
-Environmental Science (honors) </p>
<p>Extracurriculars:
-Model UN club co-founder and head chair at large annual conference
-Executive leader at a city wide, youth run community service organization (200+ hours of service)
-“Youth Leader” at local University’s Institute of Peace and Justice
-Paid Internship at school for troubled youth
-Internship at United States Green Building Council
-Volunteer and lobbyist for Planned Parenthood
-JV/Varsity Soccer
-10+ years of Equine activities
-I work part time at an ice cream shop
-Part of Schools ECO club
-Accepted as one of 20 at school to take classes at the local private university
- done over 50 hours of oversees community service (Mexico and Tanzania)
-Studied abroad in Spain for a semester
-first high school student chosen to complete a program designed for students studying abroad through Loyola Marymount university </p>
<p>I wrote my two essays and I am pretty proud of them…
I have really great relationships with both my teachers and my counselor so I know they are very nice. </p>
<p>I know my ACT is low but Im hoping that I have some kind of unique ECs that might make up for it. What do you guys think…I appreciate any feedback!</p>
