How good would my chances be if I applied Brown ED? I'm also considering Amherst, BU and Caltech.

Trust me when I say this.
You 100% will get into Brown and BU
I'm 95% sure you'll get into Amherst.
I'm 90% sure you'll get into Caltech.

Brown ED-- High Match/ Slight Reach
Amherst-- Not really familiar with admissions, sorry
BU-- Low Match/ Match
Caltech-- Reach

^wow skiier .. that would be amazing if this is true. Why are you so confident about Brown? Would you still say 100% (or >80%) Brown with RD or no? Thanks everyone and keep posting :)

did you take any of the AP exams or just the classes? it looks bad if you took the course and not the exam because it means you were qualified in your specific classes at your specific school, but not by national standards.

rob, skier isn't serious, unfortunately.

Yes I've taken the AP exams.
Chem - 5
US - 3
Estimates (this year):
Calc - 5
Stat - 5
Euro - 4
Latin - 3

my uncle is an admissions officer at Brown, thats why I'm serious.
He tells me the stats for the kids he accepts and rejects.
rob here is well above the avg for the kids that get in.

fine, its not 100% guaranteed but I'm almost positive you'll get in

more? bump.

I'd say 70-75% for Brown ED.

60-65% Amherst RD
95-100% BU RD
45-50% CalTech RD

Do I really have that good of a shot at Caltech? I assumed basically nobody got in there.

What about Brown RD? Would that lower my "odds" a lot?

I forgot to add that I won my math team sectional this year (both individually and as a team)
