• Piano: been playing the piano since i was 4. Followed the Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum, which was just introduced in NYC this year, so im one of the few kids in the city doing it. I have great recs, one from my french teacher who told me she “got someone into Yale”…and I love English and writing and it is my favorite subject, so essays shouldn’t be a problem.

Im also looking at Bowdoin, Welsleyan, Yale, Tufts, JHU, UPenn (legacy), Hamilton, Haverford, Amherst

wow…

confused…?

i hope i don’t come off as arrogant or anything, i’ve just heard a lot of mixed opinions from college advisors and friends, and i thought i’d try my luck here.

sorry, it was a wow…you’re resume is ridiculously good. your class rank and gpa aren’t excellent, but your standout ECs definitely make up for them. most of these top tier schools would prefer someone like you to a slug valedictorian. you seem to want to go into medicine, so i would try for brown plme, which would be awesome to get into. if your essays and reccomendations are good, i would be surprised if you got rejected.

i just checked your stats, and i have some advice: lay off the chance threads. You’ve already created 7, there’s really nothing to be gained by continuing to start more. Unless you have a revelation, your chances aren’t changing.
