So, the Brown application from the class of 2012 (those graduating HS 2008) has not yet been released, but I’m really anxious to get working on my application. I was thus wondering if anyone who maybe applied previously or has a copy of an old Brown application can post the essay questions?
Word for word if possible… otherwise just the gist. A lot of people have been discussing a ton of different essays and I’m wondering which is which and what they are really asking and what not.

The Brown application has been the same for decades -- the essays were the same when I applied in the mid-1970s. So if you can find last year's application, you're all set. There are 2 short answers and the 500-word personal statement; if you are applying for a science degree, there's another essay.

Last year's application essays (don't know the word counts-- would surmise that #3 is longest, but I'm not sure).

Question #1:
Tell us about the academic areas which interest you most and your reasons for applying to Brown.

Question #2:
Who interested you in Brown (e.g., college counselor, Brown alumnus/a, admission officer, undergraduate, relative)?

Question #3:
In reading your application, we want to get to know you as well as we can. We ask that you use this opportunity to tell us something more about yourself that would help us toward a sense of who you are, how you think, and what issues and ideas interest you most.

Thanks, but does anyone know what the actual questions were? I want to start them right away and since the questions don't seem to change, PLME is probably going to be the same too.
