Did anyone else get this portal and does it mean anything about the decision they make for ED?
I got this portal too. As far as I’ve heard, it doesn’t mean anything about the decision, but I’m not completely sure.
I got it too
I got it as well. It means nothing.
I didn’t get it…
didn’t get it…
i got it but I’m pretty sure it has no significance
I got an email too. Did anyone not get one?
I didn’t get it, but I also didn’t apply for financial aid.
I applied, but didn’t get it (yet?)
I applied for financial aid but didn’t get it. My last name is pretty far back alphabetically so hopefully it’s that…
I got the email lol
I just got the email.
Got it! Looks like there was a second wave of emails
Guys I’m trying not to let this mess with my head but it doesn’t make any sense how they are just now sending this to us–a week to decision time. Are ya’ll sure this doesn’t mean anything? Do you know of anyone who actually hasn’t received an email who applied for financial aid? I just don’t see any point in sending out this email with a week left. They’ve probably already made decisions, so why send it to more people then they have to? Idk, maybe I’m overthinking it, but it doesn’t make any sense…
@sciencenerd123 They send it to everyone. I know people who’ve applied in the past and received the email (none got in). If you indicated that you wanted financial aid, they send you the email.
It had nothing to do with your admissions decision.
@AverageTeen2000 I honestly don’t see a point in sending it a week before decisions are supposed to come out. Seems just mean to me lol. And kind of pointless.
@sciencenerd123 Yeah I see what you mean, haha. All schools do it though. Saves time.
@AverageTeen2000 I guess I was overthinking it. Everyone I’ve known who has gotten a similar email ended up being accepted.
I got it too. I agree with @sciencenerd123 It seems kind of mean to send this a week before decisions come out. Why didnt they ask for it earlier lol
