Was watching Devil Wears Prada yesterday and came across the trivia that the protagonist was a Brown grad in the novel (though not in the movie). Set me wondering what other novels/movies featured characters from Brown. Here’s what I got for now :

Devil Wears Prada (x1)
Emperor’s Children (x3)
The O.C (x1)
Me, Myself and Irene (x1 - not too sure about this one, though)

lol, i was just watching sex and the city tonight and there's a guy charlotte dates who keeps on adjusting his balls and she's like "i dont get it! he's from a nice family, he went to brown!!" but seriously, haven't met any ppl at brown who have problems with their crotch.

in anywhere but here, natalie portman's character wanted to go to brown. there are tons others though. at adoch, they showed us a slideshow of brown references in movies/tv shows.

the wedding date. the gigolo was from brown. i gave a loud "noooooooo!"/groan in the theatre when he said it and the people who were watching it with me wished they didnt know me at that point of time. hahaha

In a Simpsons episode, Lisa day dreams about failing a test and is told by the president of Harvard that she has no chance of getting in. He jokingly adds that he will pass her file along to Brown. Same episode you learn that Otto the bus driver went to Brown and almost got tenure.

we're forgetting some big ones, although they are mostly from when i was in high school

as good as it gets
outside providence (scene takes place on campus and multiple references throughout movie)
varsity blues
me, myself, and irene

multiple references on the west wing

fred durst's new movie is being filmed at brown

Oh! When I was at Brown this summer, I saw Fred Durst filming his movie..and a few people I know got asked to be extras on the set! Unfortunately I didn't, but I walked behind the camera a few times, heh.
