Hey, I’m a current junior in high school. I have always wanted to experience a “summer college” program. However, I wanted something that wouldn’t last for too long or be too expensive. Thus, in addition to the fact that Brown is my top choice, I applied (and have been accepted) to the Brown Leadership Institute. I am actually involved in a lot of extracurricular activities (from being the head of the journalism club, to MUN, and being the leader of multiple Community and Service projects), but would still want this experience to count. I’m also a little worried about the age gaps; I’m a little scared that I would be the only 17-year-old one. Hence, I am not completely sure about attending the program. Any suggestions? Testimonies?
My S is 17 and a 1/2 and will also be going to the leadership program this summer - July 19-31. My understanding is that it is mainly 16 and 17 year olds. You will not be too old.
