Good luck during the application season.

thanks for the info!

I missed this last year. Thanks tokenadult

Why doesn't Brown visit Europe? They go to Australia and Asia...

I also wonder why they don't go any further south in Florida than Ft Lauderdale.

Sometimes the spring admissions travel season includes visits to different places from those visited in the fall.

There will also be a presentation in Stamford, CT at KLHT school on Sunday Oct 13. I will be volunteering there.

Yes, but I would like to speak with a Brown rep before I apply, you see. Especially if it's an adcom, so that I can introduce myself and become more than just a few number.

It's cool how on the webpage

the meetings that have already happened are grayed out. Have any of you been to a Brown info session this year?

Argh. They came to St. Louis last year, but I didn't go because I was only a sophomore...it seems I've missed my chance.

We attended one in September, and it was pretty much the same as the campus info session we attended earlier in the year. It was nice, though, to hear about the other schools - Columbia, U of Chicago, and Cornell. The only thing new I heard was that Brown may be using the common app next year.

What! Brown use the common ap? Grr -- I hope not!

I thought the same thing, too, when I heard the rep say it. They probably will go with the common app but then have supplemental essay/s.
