Someone has found out on the Brown board:

nothing either. (FL)

This person is from RI who found out so I guess the mail gets there a little quicker. Good luck to everyone, it's a nail-biting time. :)

do you think we'll all have them by monday?

In Oregon, I was thinking probably Tuesday.

Is everyone's application pin used to check status still working, or can it not find some people's in the database?

I can log in, but I receive the message:

"Tracking of credentials on-line is no longer available for this academic year."

If the person accepted to Brown could post what his/hers says, I'd appreciate it.

bump

(10 char)

i'm not sure if the person accepted to brown knows that the transfer forum exists...try posting your message in the Brown forum thread in which the brown transfer acceptee has been posting:

Relax, you'll receive your decision in the mail tomorrow or the day after. I'm sure the site says the same thing for him. They don't use it to post admission decisions; it's for tracking application materials, which are now irrelevant.

i know this is stupid...and we'll most likely find out in 12 hours, but does anyone know if brown's transfer admissions is as unpredictable as its freshmen admissions?

i imagine it would be

12-ish hours until we find out.

Good luck everyone!

I believe Brown said they were putting them in the mail Friday night, I assume after they left the office. If this is true, it is possible they won't come tomorrow.

10 hours (for people within 150 mile radius of brown)!

outside of that radius should expect tuesday?

if you call on the phone and ask for your decision will they give it to you?

i looked at my letter from last year and it was postmarked the 31st of march and i received it April 1st. I live in Philly too.

I would love to know if anyone has called and got a response. I'm international so I'll be waiting awhile otherwise!

got my letter at 11:15 AM, rejected as expected. Says there were a record 1,100 applicants, doesn't say the number of spots, but that there was "very limited space." Good luck to everyone else.
