Brown notifications - When?

i saw the mail man with the letter, that was interesting because i knew then

Usuallylurking, if you got waitlisted with those stats i dont know who is going to get accepted.

luckycharms...what kind of mail system do you have? like a real mailman that walks down the road? lol im just wondering because my little letter was buried under a stack of bills and coupons.

yea i have the normal mail man, the letter was on top of the pile. he also had my NYU acceptance on the top of the pile too.. hmmm poor thing probably thinks i go to 1000 schools

hahaha...imagine being a mailman...youd get to see college decisions from everyone on your route.

not surprising news, REJECTED, they must not have a waitlist, considering no one here has gotten on it?

Sorry bball87...

God. Has anyone but that person in RI got in yet?

bball -

I am accepting a spot on the waitlist.

Good luck usuallylurking. I think I'll go crazy if, in the unlikely chance that it will happen, that I get waitlisted.

Can anyone post (some of the text of) their acceptance/rejection letter?

I heard from Brown today... rejected from Boston College

Superb! Haha, not a surprise.

They should refund people for their applications- the side of the application said 200 transfers a year, that is false advertising and now they have can take all our money, put it together and have raised 100,000 dollars for the university just in return for sending out mass rejections, and an acceptance or two

I'm all for that. I know it's the risk you take, but GAH.

UsuallyLurking, you might be in luck depending on the size of the waitlist, I know someone who was accepted today who is definitely not enrolling.

Please give that person a hug.

I wish I was on the waitlist. ****.

I might have been placed on a waitlist, had I not told Brown that I needed to make a housing commitment on April 20th. For me it was either an acceptance or rejection.

I guess I did undercut my chances by asking for a forced decision...

But who am I kidding? I probably would have been rejected, were the waitlist option available to me.

Mag,
do you know this person's numbers? Also, why is he/she turning it down.

I was also accepted today (for Spring) and I'm not enrolling. So somebody on the waitlist can probably have my spot.
The reason: I got into Columbia also which I am most likely going to go.

StillHoping, no this person was not forthcoming about their stats, as for reason....when they applied they weren't sold on their current institution, but ended up being sure they wanted to stay. Annoying if you ask me, but i guess it's their right to apply, thats why they have a waitlist...
