So all of my choices are in, and it's the battle of the B's.

Brown or Berkeley?

Brown
-I love the academic environment, the open curriculum, the international relations dept.--so better education
-Definite social fit
-Beautiful campus
-Amazing, amazing people
-More selective?

Berkeley
-Large and diverse
-Better journalistic premise for me
-More friends going
-CLOSER
-CHEAPER

Money is a factor--I'd say 10% weighted. My heart is with Brown, my brain with Berkeley.

I know CC is partial to Cal, but please look at this objectively through my eyes. Where should I go?

I might have to take out loans, for grad school–my parents will be willing to pay for my undergrad, whether it is Brown or Berkeley, but will prefer for me to choose the closer, cheaper option I guess. They love Brown though, and would not mind sending me there if I’ll be substantially happier there. I see myself fitting in at both Brown and Cal, but academically, and perhaps size-wise and stress-wise, Brown is better for me.
