Hey guys, so I got accepted into both Brown (not PLME) and Pomona and was wondering which would be better for premed? I like them both equally and am having trouble deciding haha. Thanks.

Congratulations. I don’t think you can go wrong, and both are fine for a premed student. What did you plan on majoring in? Where are you from, east or west coast, and do you want to go somewhere different from where you are? Which one is more affordable?
I’d pick Pomona, but I’m not you. ;)

Thank you! I plan on majoring in computer science or computational biology (which brown has, but I don’t think I’d have any problem creating a major at Pomona if I decide on it over comp sci, because with the Claremont consortium there are over 2000 classes to choose from, which is quite cool imo) or biomedical computation. Both about the same affordability wise, and I’m from the Midwest hehe. But I’ve always wanted to go to Cali …

Congratulations! I don’t think you could go wrong at either school - they are both, in my opinion, roughly equal in prestige. Personally I would choose Pomona because of the consortium and the weather.
Did I mention the weather?

I like Pomona better for diversity across all the Claremont Colleges and the weather.
