hey everyone...new to this thing, but I was deferred from Brown's PLME and am starting to hustle common apps to other schools...I've noticed that there were LOTS of people who were deferred from Brown...

northwestern is either number 1 or 2 on my desired list, but I haven't had a clue what my chances are of getting in.

Essays: I think they are quite good, would help me moreso towards the PLME though becuase the reason why I want to get into medicine were solid. Otherwise, very personal and true to myself.
Teacher Recs: Aren't allowed to review them because of waivers, but should be solid because I developed a very good relationship with both teachers.
Counselor Rec: Didn't get to read, but she says that they're good :-/

Extracurriculars: 3 years junior varsity tennis, 7 years piano (completed CM Advanced level 10 in 9th grade and went on to complete CM Advanced Panel level in 10th and 11th grade, 2nd place at two Sonata Festivals, and formed a trio to perform at retirement homes and churches) Key Club (Prez.), California Scholarship Federation (CSF) (Prez.), Future DOctors of America (FDA) (VP), Peer Counseling 4 years, Church activities, other miscellaneous stuff...Lots of community service

School: pretty big public school pop. roughly 3000

And does anybody have any idea what the stats are for PLME acceptance? I think I read somewhere that the finalized class will be about 60 people...any clue if they take like 20/60 Early Decision or more like 50/60 early...if it's more like 50, then all us deferred are screwed with competition...
