Other Things

  1. Applied for financial aid (if that makes a difference)
  2. Wrote common app essay about my trampoline..
  3. LOR's from AP English teacher, Sophomore Year History/Swim Coach, and sent a peer rec from my friend. Everything was very seamless and they each backed up my entire application.
  4. Will be a first-gen college student, and one parent is unemployed (7 mo.)
  5. Have been accepted to Northeastern and UMass so far. Waiting on Brown and my other reaches

Northeastern and UMass Amherst are good acceptances. And if you got merit aid/Honors College for your acceptances, go with them. So don’t worry about your reaches. Especially since Brown has a 9% acceptance rate.
