It’s especially hard for me seeing as though all my coworkers go to Ivy League schools, and we do the same job. It hurts because I cannot change my college record from 8 years ago, and I’ve done so well in school last year retaking the same classes that I got low marks in.
@wittyusername1 have you enrolled in The Warrior Scholar Project or anything similar?
@wittyusername1 fair enough, I’m attending one of the STEM courses over the summer. Seems like a sweet gig for those of us who have been out of an academic environment for awhile
@jimothyhalpert the WSP is fantastic, especially for networking.
Hopefully we start hearing back this week from Brown. I’ll comment if I get a yes or now later this week or next.

I just got into UC Berkeley so I won’t be waiting on Brown. Good luck everyone, remember that there are plenty of great schools out there that would love to have caring, motivated students like yourselves; the Ivies aren’t the end all be all.

Hi Everyone! You can call the office and ask for your decision over the phone. I was able to hear mine yesterday. Didn’t get it, but that’s ok. good luck guys

Just called. They will only give results over the phone if you’ve been accepted to another school and need to make a decision. They’re mailing out results on monday so we should receive them by the end of next week.
@misamelee think they’ll ship them as priority? The anxiety is unbearable haha
I hope so. Even if not at least I live in the same state, so I should get it by… wednesday maybe? sigh. I’m freaking out a bit not gonna lie.
I wonder why they don’t just give us the results through our portal?

Pulled this of the financial aid section of the Brown website. Pretty sure this means that if you were contacted by financial aid, you were admitted.
well dear god if that’s the case, I have a lot of stuff to work at and process, as soon as I get that letter. either way.
I called and the lady on the phone said I’d have to send them my acceptance letter and financial aid for the other school I am considering. That seems super weird (like are they using that to decide if I’m good enough?!) so I don’t want to do that.
