Brown Specific Transfer Question

It is a known fact that Brown is need-aware for transfer applicants. Therefore, I am not planning on applying for financial aid, because that’s pretty much setting me back.

My question is: If I don’t apply for FA my sophomore year (for the sake of transfer admissions), am I eligible to do so my junior and senior years if I officially matriculate to Brown?

@vonlost I can only afford my sophomore year without financial aid. I’ll have to take loans my last 2 years.

To be considered for financial assistance at any time during their undergraduate years at Brown, students must apply for financial aid when they initially apply for admission as a transfer applicant. Students who do not apply for financial assistance with their initial admission application will not be considered for University Scholarship at any point during their undergraduate years at Brown, regardless of any changes in their family’s financial situation.
