Brown "Submission has Passed"?????

<p>So, I submitted my application for Brown at 11:39 Pm on Jan 1, 2008 (due date), and i'm sure it said everything went through. I go to the main page of application (after submitting) and it says both part 1 and 2 are submitted but next to the headings of Part 1 and Part 2 it says "Deadline Has Passed," and I think I did about 10-15 min after submitting mine (so around 11:55). Did they get my application? Does this happen to everyone after submission of is deadline like 11:45 not 11:59. Does it says it on any one else brown online app main page? I NEED TO KNOW!!!</p>

<p>What you wrote is a little hard to read, but I guess that’s because you’re really worried. Just relax, it says Part 1 and Part 2 are submitted. Therefore, that’s it! Your app was submitted. Deadline has passed is just a notifaction they put up for everyone.</p>

<p>This is so ironic, because I went to check Brown’s site (because they are a college that is picky about deadlines) and you post that Brown has told you the deadline has passed.</p>

<p>Are you saying that you did not recieve a confirmation after submitting your application? (Cross posted with you. Glad to hear you got a confirmation stating your application has been submitted).</p>

<p>I got my app in on Monday, but I had no idea about the 11:45 deadline. I think they really should’ve publicized that. I’m sure if I’d looked for it I would’ve found it, but doesn’t everyone just assume it’s 11:59?</p>

<p>I was trying to submit about 15 min late due to server problems. it wouldn’t let me though and said “Deadline has passed” what should i do? i submitted part I like a week ago</p>

<p>But, guys, late is late, as I said in a different thread. I know it sounds cruel, and I truly don’t mean to be judgmental or nasty. Please try not to procrastinate so much… It is a very important lesson to learn.</p>

<p>i went back in this afternoon after emailing them last night and it allowed me to submit it now.
i hope I won’t be penalized for the technical difficulties since it shows that I submitted it on the 2nd at 1 in the afternoon.</p>

<p>hey, i pressed submit at 11:46 on google official time. and it did not go. so i planned to mail it at the box address above. I did that. I also checked the brown app again and sent it at 12 pm today!</p>

<p>so it does go. i paid money and sent part 1 in november. </p>

<p>dont give up. go the full way and sent it today.</p>
