Brown? Suggestions?

<p>Please give me my chances for Brown University, University of Virginia, or Bucknell University, or you can suggest a school that would be a good fit, if you feel like putting your 2 cents in that way. Let me down easy guys :P</p>

<p>Hispanic Female, Northern Virginia, 1 parent in the military, 11th grade
SATs (I will be retaking these):
730 Reading
650 Math (ouch)
780 Writing
Haven't taken subject tests yet.</p>

<p>GPA: 4.27 (weighted, not sure what it is unweighted)- ranked 6th out of something like 620</p>

<p>APs:
Euro (took the exam, got a 5)
U.S. History
Biology
English 11
APs next year:
U.S. Government
French
English 12
Calculus AB
POSSIBLY Comparative Government</p>

<p>Founder and Chair of the school book club
I swam on a community swim team for 2 years in high school
Drama Club for 2 years- acted in One Acts Festival both years
Debate Team for 3 years - lettered
Band for 4 years- 3x participation in ensemble competition (rating of Excellent)
I have volunteered as a mentor to elementary school students, and will be volunteering at a national battlefield park this summer. I also took part in a school recycling program in the 10th grade.
National Honor Society and National French Honor Society</p>

<p>Attended SEP at UVA- took a class on Constitutional law and seminars on landmark Supreme Court cases and French culture (pre-10th grade)
Attended Governor's School for French as a junior
This summer, I plan to stay at home working and volunteering at the battlefield, while also taking a class in DC hosted by William and Mary, or an online class through Brown's pre-college programs.</p>

<p>Oh, and I will try to reciprocate. andandand I’m a legacy at Bucknell.</p>

<p>Being a URM will definitely boost your chances at all colleges. Your ECs could be stronger (more leadership/time commitment) but you could probably make up for that with strong essays/interview. Brown is a high reach, UVA low reach, and I don’t know much about Bucknell. Good luck!</p>
