<p>I am a junior who will almost certainly be applying to Brown next year. I am looking at the supplement for the class of 2017 and wondering if the essays will change (I will be starting them this summer).</p>
<p>The essays may change - they’ve certainly changed quite a bit since I applied a few years ago. However, if you want to start thinking about things, draft some ideas for your Common App essay, since those topics haven’t changed in quite a while.</p>
<p>I’ve heard from my daughter’s GC that the Common app is being completely revamped and the essay questions/topics will likely change.</p>
<p>^ I really think that decision is a step in the wrong direction. Anyway, thanks for your help.</p>
