Brown Transfer Admissions!!

So I have a question for ya'll. I'm a freshman at the University of Michigan and really love all the ppl I've met and friends I've made -- however, the school itself just doesn't work for me. I want to be a Finance/Business Economics and Architecture major, and Michigan doesn't offer any cross-registration between the Business and Architecture Schools.
** Anyhow, I've been looking at Brown and UPenn CAS as transfer options, but the thing is, I just got my grades -- 3 A's and a B- in math. Does this math grade totally screw me over? My GPA now is like a 3.4 something..bad!! I did really well in high school, 3.85 GPA, 2nd in my class out of 220, 30 ACT, above 700 on all SAT II's, great recommendations, etc. Any thoughts, guys? Thanks so much..

Oh yeah -- I've been involved @ Mich, on sailing team, treasurer of hall council, etc., will get great recommendations...

how does 3 As and a B- give you 3.4?
A=4.0, B-=2.7
(12+2.7)/4=3.7ish!

Hey, I got a B- in Honors cal 1 and I got into Cornell, UVa, and Rice, and my hs record was not as good. If you have a reason, tell them why your grade so low. I simply explained that I was working for 40 hours a week and taking 19 hours of class when I got the B-. Then, I proved that it was a fluke by sending in a mid-semester grade of A+ in honors cal 2. So, all is not lost, but if you want to do finance and econ, you ought to kick a** in your next math class next semester. I think, if you do that, you ought to have a good shot.

Right haha...it was a 4.0 and two 3.7's, sry, my high school didn't give out +'s or -'s so I just kinda group everything together..
