Brown Transfer Question

im a second year at a california community college and i recently decided i want to apply to brown as a transfer. but if i apply, i would be starting my third year and on their webpage it says
" Brown requires degree candidates to complete a minimum of two years in residence and in full-time study, students with more than two years of college credit are discouraged from making transfer application."

But since i am at a community college, i would still need to spend at least 2 years at brown because i wont be taking any upper division at my current college since they arent even offered. My question is that, am i eligible to apply? I would make it clear on my application that i would have to spend 2 years at brown.

thanks

Give them a call.

hey captain bhangra,

ive seen your questions around this forum and my advice to u is this - DON’T ask CCers. call the admissions office. in reality, CC is a terrible place for advice where anyone can really start any rumor about any college. so go directly to the source!

oh by the way, are you on a bhangra team? lol if so which one

thanks mates,

and dirty chicago, im not on one but i just like doing bhangra

I’ve told the OP this twice already in another thread, still no traction.

have you heard the song, captain bhangra by daljit mattu?
