<p>I figured this might be a good place for all of us transferring to Brown in the fall. I'm a rising soph coming from Boston College and I'm so excited.</p>

<p>Hey im not going to brown but im also a transfer from BC...im going to be at Georgetown next semester...since ur gonna be a sophmore i might have known u at BC? Whats ur name?</p>

<p>hey im going to brown as a soph too! so excited- Im transferring form vancouver canada-have you started registering for courses yet? I havent heard from them since I sent in my commitment card..</p>

<p>You should have gotten the big packet with meal plan options etc. You might call and ask why you haven't gotten it.</p>

<p>i got the thing with meal plan options but it was just a card to ask if i wanted to switch from the standard meal plan.. ill give them a call nonetheless.. just in case</p>

<p>they didnt send them to us yet, but renix figured out how to set them up. theres a website and a number thing. i'll see if i can find out what it was. message jason skinner on facebook. he knows how</p>

<p>yes i do. lol.
use your banner id from the health waiver letter. then google "brown myaccount" and fill out the form.
notice your username is not firstname_lastname. It is the original login they gave us with your initial, middle initial, then first 6 letters of your last name I believe..although some people don't have the middle initial. </p>

<p>Just for the info, I drove down to Brown to buy some tshirts last week and it only took about 40 minutes from Boston lol
too bad they don't let you park on campus... sigh..</p>

<p>I looked at the bookstore online and wasn't impressed with the selection of t-shirts. I ordered one and it was way too small and fit strangely so I returned it. I got one from IvySport.com and it was perfect and a much higher quality fabric.</p>

<p>i didnt think i had mine either; look through all the forms/letters brown has sent to you or your parents. the banner ID is in the top right--i found mine on some payment letter sent to my parents. best of luck!</p>

<p>i'll be transferring as a sophomore from univ. of texas at austin, anyone else from that aread?</p>

<p>and, is there a separate orientation for transfers, or do we just randomly find eachother at the first year orientation?</p>
