Brown, U Penn, Columbia, Dartmouth, Stanford or Emory for Medicine

I have been nominated to participate in a program where I rank my top couple schools from 1-6.. 1 being I want to go there the most, and so forth.
I plan on being doing pre-med during my undergrad and probably majoring in biochemistry or chemistry depending on the school. I would also like to conduct cancer research as an undergrad, or at least have the oppurtunity to participate in such research.

Ultimately, my question is this, of the following schools, how do they compare as far as cancer research and medical facilities open to undergrad students?
Brown, U Penn, Columbia, Dartmouth, Stanford, and Emory

For Brown, I'm interested in their PLME program which is an 8 year program with automatic admission to the Alpert School of Medicine. I would love to do that because it would give me adademic flexibility and the chance to broaden my interests in medicine.

For my second choice I'm decided upon either U Penn or Columbia. Which should I choose? They are both great schools in good areas so it comes down to their academics for me.

As for the rest, I would like to know the oppurtunities they provide for future med students.

Thanks!

If you are really aiming high, PLME isn’t for you. Out of those schools, I would say Stanford and Dartmouth would give you the most opportunity as undergrads. Brown would give you a high GPA. You will have to deal with the Core at Columbia, which wouldn’t be fun for a pre-med, since you will also have your pre-med classes and classes for you major. Although competition into top medical school is intense at every top undergraduate institution, the competition at Penn is especially intense, close to that at JHU.
