Brown University Chance ??

Hey I was wondering if anyone could help me in analyzing my chances into getting into Brown University as a transfer student from CUNY-Lehman College ?... I am currently a freshman and in my first semester, i want to transfer because I am seeking more academically challenging courses and I know Brown has a dual degree with RISD and I am planning on majoring in Studio Art.... Also are there any other great art schools out there that cover most of your financial need. Thank you.

Ps. I'll give anyone a digital high five for helping me :D I hope that works as a great incentive.

GPA?
SAT?
APs?

GPA: 3.5
SAT: 1600 (all together)
AP: Spanish Ap

I almost forgot your complementary high five  High Five

No. What do you expect with 1600 SAT score and one AP?

20 percent

I’d say lower than 20%, you need to get 2100+ to even be considered, most of the times.

Brown only offers limited financial aid for transfer applicants and they are need-aware when making decision on transfer applications.

The number of BROWN-RISD Five Year Dual Degree students admitted is strictly limited. Brown only matriculates between 13-15 candidates in each class. I’m not sure if they consider transfer applications.

Of first year applicants with SAT scores in your range, Brown excepts about 1% of the applicants <a href=“Undergraduate Admission | Brown University”>Undergraduate Admission | Brown University; It’s more competitive for transfer students because there are so many applicants for so few spots.

Most likely, nope

I don’t understand people like angrykevin who says such a BS comment.

Brown acceptance rate is far below 20%. This person, who is:
a Transfer
has super low SAT
has only one AP
has unimpressive GPA

does not have any chance of getting in. OP may be a ■■■■■.
