If you have questions or need more info to chance comment and I will reply.
I know it is early in my high school career to have a realistic chance, but I would like to know where I am at.

Well academically you’re on the right track. Make sure to keep that GPA at 95+ and keep taking rigorous courses. You need an SAT/ACT score of 2200+/32+ to really be in the running though, so definitely focus on studying for that. Your ECs are already pretty impressive what with the internships and all. You should absolutely pursue more science based ECs because that’s is what you want to study in college and having some experience on your application already shows that you are motivated.

My thread (chance pls): <a href=“Chances for Vanderbilt, UNC, NYU, UF, and Duke? - Chance Me / Match Me! - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1610985-chances-for-vanderbilt-unc-nyu-uf-and-duke-p1.html</a></p>

Great job so far! Keep it up. Your GPA is good so far, but make sure you pace yourself with the APs. Don’t take so many that you’ll end up hurting your own GPA (I’ve seen it happen many times). Also, AP Stat is a great class to take, and could be especially useful for neuroscience (I took it as a sophomore). Your ECs are great also. Try to get involved in some more science related activities, as the person above said, or even try initiating one of your own. It’s good you’re thinking about Brown early on, thought. Just get your SAT score up and even try the ACT. Don’t forget subject tests. Everyone gets into NHS, it’s not too special, just saying. But the rest looks great :)

Chance me: <a href=“Brown University...Again. - Chance Me / Match Me! - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1610685-brown-university-again-p1.html</a></p>

Given your screen name, I assume Princeton is your first choice. If you aren’t applying ED to Brown and you are the regular white or Asian suburban candidate, I think your chances of getting in are less than 50/50. If you actually end up in the top 40 for Intel, of course that’s a different story.

i’m not trying to be mean or nasty…just realistic.

@jonri I am debating between Brown and Princeton EA. I like them both but have a while to decide. What would my chances look like if I EA Brown?

Brown: Reach (aim for 33+/2200+)
