So, I didn’t get in. Which is fine, because I got into Stanford and Cornell. I would have liked to go to Brown though. But I will definitely take Stanford!

I honestly don’t know how this happened seeing as I was expecting Brown to give me my first rejection. I also got into Cornell.

To the accepted: Has your alumni interviewer emailed you yet?
I believe alumni interviewers don’t find out until tomorrow or the next day.
Alumni interviewers find out tomorrow evening, if you don’t contact them first.
Well that’s weird. My interviewer told me that he’d get the decision before I would. I guess he got the dates mixed up.
Again to the accepted: Did you get any congratulatory e-mail yet?
@topimpabutterfly The closest thing I’ve gotten to a congratulatory email is an invitation to a day on college hill (from the Science Team)

Yes. 1 from my interviewer, 1 regarding financial aid stuff that I’m missing, and 1 inviting me to an admitted students event.
Is anyone still waiting to receive a financial statement? I am and it’s sooo nerve-wracking.
I am someone who did mediocre in high school, went to a state school for two years, and then was able to transfer into Brown! So no matter what happens, don’t give up! Something great can still happen!
