Oh wow now that is truly a situation @jejiang i am so sorry
If I sent two test scores to Brown the portal would still just say “requirement fulfilled,” right? For anyone who submitted more than one: did the portal just say that or did it say something like “both tests received?”
@ap012199 Yeah me too it doesn’t say anything extra. I submitted ACT and an SAT 2 and that’s all it says
@ricka8 - this was a concern for my daughter. She too submitted the ACT and two SAT 2 test scores. And she has two separate transcripts. The Brown portal isn’t set up to show more than one received. I wanted her to email her admissions counselor to confirm that everything was in her file. She vetoed. Thoughts?
I also submitted 2 subject tests w/ an ACT and it only says “requirement fulfilled”, so I think we’re all okay
for people who submitted research supplements, it doesn’t show anything recorded right? It only said that it was uploaded successfully when I submitted it but there is still no track of it on the portal. Is this the same for anyone else who submitted research?
Hm. Does anyone’s portal no longer have the long list of line test scores, recommendations , transcript, etc. and only has like “admissions decisions are currently not available.” left?
@Seirien Yup
What time to decisions come out?
@allima I heard all ivies do 5pm EST
@ricka8 do you still have the chart on your Brown Account?
Does anyone have their chart still? I thought they all disappeared
Mine is gone.
Nope, no chart!
My interviewer said to me, “I hope to see you on campus next year.” Is that a good sign or do they all just say that?
@ayemate99 unfortunately, interviews have little weight in the overall admissions process. Your interviewer most likely said that as a form of good luck. The interviewers meet with you before your admissions decision, so you’re out of luck if you’re looking for a sign as to whether you’ve been admitted.
@ayemate99 - to throw some good light into what the interviewer said - he / she probably thought you have as good a chance to get in as other qualified applicants and that you did well in the interview. But like @ap012199 pointed out - don’t set your hopes just on that statement. Good luck.
@ap012199 I’m actually not that hurt by it. Btw, what is your GPA? Mine is a 4.3 W and I’m scared that may be too low.
@MedSciBud Gotcha. And good luck to you too! (if you’re also a current applicant)
@ayemate99 mine is lower than that. its okay to be scared but don’t let it consume you. deep breaths
