Wait what changes have happened for some students’ portals?

@aidanmc9 A bunch of kids found out they are accepted ED because their portals changed yesterday and they got calls from Brown admissions.
@greeksalad123 but that was just one person, do you know anyone else?
@greeksalad123 yes, but that only happened to about 30/3000 to 4000 ED applicants

@nero64 you can access canvas because you did a summer at Brown.
they can’t possibly have glitched 600+ portals they don’t have the manpower to call every single ED acceptance personally
@appleby1 just an estimate, but one school in my city got called, a school in SF got called, a school in Florida got called, and a girl in France got called. I’m sure there were some more that I haven’t heard about. It’s an estimation; by no means is it accurate.
@greeksalad123 - i would not jump to the conclusion that no changes means no admission. i watched this process with my older brother and another school and the correlations between changes and none weren’t really concretely established. so none of us should give up hope. i have alot of tabs and alot of access but i truly think it is from my summer @brown program as my banner id is the same and it even has my payments from that year and asks about summer housing. as far as canvas…i can log in, but again, i think it is from before. and no, i cannot upload materials. mine says processed.

@ap012199…i thought that my access to canvas was because of summer@brown. that is why i am not taking it to mean a thing. did you do summer@brown and have same thing? or know someone?
i can still submit supplementary materials… hopefully this doesn’t mean i was rejected/deferred…
@nero64 When, you click on “Fall 2017”, and get to the page, do you not have the option to upload documents?
@nero64 I hope you’re right. But my portal says my application is still being processed and I can upload supplements. Wonder if that means I’m in the squishy middle and they haven’t decided on me yet. So it will be a last minute decision! Ugh. This sucks.
