I don’t have the supplements box either. Mine disappeared around a week ago I think.
Have we reached a consensus as to what the Banner IDs mean? Are they just available if you’ve requested financial aid?
@birdiegirl99 Doesn’t everyone have a Banner ID? I think that is part of getting into the system? I have one, did not apply for financial aid, BUT, if not everyone has one…I have one from my previous Summer@Brown so it automatically adds it.
The wierd thing is that my banner id is B followed by my high school id. Is any of yours like that?

I think everyone who applied received a Banner ID. I did too after opening the brown account. I applied for financial aid though.
@Chinaberry WHAT is a high school ID? we don’t have that at my school? or is it something else?
@nero64 At my high school, every student has their own 5 digit student ID number (high school ID). Maybe your school doesn’t one?
Ok guys this is all giving me an aneurysm but… I gotta ask, where is everybody seeing this photo thing? I have literally no idea what that is? Is it on your self service portal, because mine does not have that. Also, my supplement box disappeared maybe a week or two, and hasn’t been back since.

@Chinaberry hi…we do have that, ours is 6 numbers, but my Banner ID is a B followed by 9 numbers unrelated to my high school ID. Maybe I missed the earlier parts of the conversation? Are other people’s Banner IDs shorter? Mine has been the same since I did a Summer@Brown, so that might explain my discrepancy. Even then, they didn’t use high school ID.
and @BrownOrBust999 I too have no idea where the photo thing is. My supplement box has ALWAYS been there, even after i submitted my supplement… I think/hope we’re reading too much in to this bc this is a HUGE clue for them to let slip lbr
Banner ID Location: (there are a few, but this is easiest): https://myaccount.brown.edu/ Click far right box “Login and Manage”…It is there.
@nero64 My banner ID has 8 numbers but it the first 5 digits is my high school ID. It could just be a coincidence but I just thought what are the chances that the first 5 digits is exactly the same as my HS id? Either way, it probably doesn’t mean much

So…my conclusion…I can’t tell anything! I did Summer@Brown and have access to this, the courses, ask website for advising and canvas. And no supplemental info. Guidance counselor was called last week for 1st semester grades (and they asked for those of the other student in my school).
Are there other Summer@Brown people here with anything DIFFERENT than mine??
Oh…and when I go int Student Records -> Academic Transcript it says this:
The Brown Internal Academic Record applies only to:
Degree Candidates
Non-degree students who are taking or have taken for-credit courses
Certificate program students
The current request for an Internal Academic Record doesn’t come under any of the above categories and is, therefore, not a valid request.
UNLIKE, (was it @jaren or was is @opopopopopop1 ) whose said he was for the fall of 2017 
so essentially I think my access is simply my old one. ugh.

@brownorbust …I don’t think it matters. I think LOTS of people don’t. So, do you view your application from the start page/main menu? I think that people like me only have the Student Tab because of my Summer@Brown. It has all old stuff in it. I think they just link you to your last number and that account, so I wouldn’t worry. Having my old stuff makes me more anxious because I feel like I can’t compare to anything and it all means nothing on mine. 
@Chinaberry …that’s interesting. Doesn’t sound coincidental. Mine isn’t related at all and I did Summer@Brown after my freshman year in HS so I had an ID. Maybe they didn’t use it back then.
