@vsplme3. Incredible how you are making others nervous on this thread who are already on a brink. How your daughter can pursue a career in Medicine with such level of insensitivity running in the family.

@vsplme3 Don’t listen to these kids. They don’t know what they are talking about. My D, the big one, goes to Harvard. It was hard for D coming up, but she is doing fine now with some guidance from others. I would immediately you call the admission office and demand to know immediately whether your D got in.
My other D is applying to Brown ED and I just want to finish as fast as possible. My D also got a 2400 in SAT, 800/800 on both SATIIs and is at the top of her class. My D stands out among the rest. My D thought about being an MD but D is indecisive. Sometimes I wish my D would stop getting excited over everything. I’m gonna miss my D because my other D doesn’t talk to me anymore. I just want the best for my D. Well, I don’t want to share too much about my D, because private matters and all. If your D is half as good as my D you should be fine.
What is really sad, it that @vsplme3 has posted ONCE on CC…just to show up and beg us to not speculate because it is ‘has only increased the nervousness of parents like us.’ Ha! This is just such a joke on so many levels. I am so grateful for my caring parents who would never purposely or inadvertently make others more nervous (even strangers!) and certainly wouldn’t try to make themselves feel better by bragging about my grades at the risk of making others feel worse. Until now, this has been a pretty chill, albeit recently more tense thread with great, supportive people. Even when some of us have had doubts or worries about portal links, others have been uplifting. Maybe there is a reason that kids can’t stand parents on social media… stupid, insensitive, thoughtless comments. Luckily, most of us won’t judge your poor kid based on you and maybe they have a chance at being a good person. I certainly hope that as someone going into medicine, your spawn doesn’t inherit your lack of a sensitivity chip @vsplme3. My parents are are both doctors and I’ve done pretty well but I can’t imagine any universe that they would post something like that. Perhaps your child should look into psychiatry…you could get some free care.

Oh this is getting fun! Welcome @harvarddad1 ~ you and @vsplme3 should meet up! You seem perfect for one another. Not because of the scores which are great, and congrats (and no, no jealousy here as I’m pretty satisfied with my own but feel no need to flaunt them or show the size of my genitals or how let you know how much money my parents have in the bank)…but because you both are so sad. There should be a separate platform for sad parents looking to live vicariously through their kids somewhere. And “HarvardDad” (can you tell I am trying really hard not to bust out laughing), just the fact that you chose such a name for yourself speaks volumes. It is sad that your daughter doesn’t speak to you. Perhaps you should evaluate things…sometimes the answers are right in front of us. -“one of the kids” you shouldn’t listen to.
@harvarddad1 - bet you and The Donald would have fun comparing D’s. (both the female one and the other one mentioned above) I hear one of his “Ds” ie, the youngest, doesn’t talk to him either. lmao. Bet you collect bumper stickers, hats and t shirts!

The beauty of me is that I’m very rich. Listen, my D is tremendous, better than others big league. Look at my D, how successful my D is. I guarantee you there’s no problem. I guarantee.

I 100% agree with @harvarddad1. In fact, I have birthed 4 beautiful babies that miraculously look just like me and with my brains they all got into Harvard and attended! So proud

@nero64 Mr. Robot is def worth checking out if you like suspense. Also Black Mirror is AMAZING, I think season 3 is way better than the rest (you dont have to watch in order, every episode is different storyline w a different cast, i loved playtest, men against fire, and nose dive)
