****Brown University Class of 2021 Regular Decision Thread****

1360

@parisgeller What’s yours?

@ap012199 wow, that’s great! I guess looking at CC isn’t exactly the best indicator of the average applicant

Mine is 1490

My ACT to SAT conversion would be 1540 but they’re two totally different tests.

Since the class of 2017 is the first one with the new SAT, how can there be an average of the new SAT? Has Brown released any info about the ED results yet?

^True, have they?

@bwaygirl1 it’s just and old to new SAT conversion. I’m not sure how accurate it is though.

Just recently got an interview request. I was under the impression that it was too late for those? Any meaning, or should I assume they were just behind?

@hgf23 my brown ed interview happened like 2 weeks before decisions and i got deferred so probably not

The wait is killing me. Everyone around me is getting decisions back, and I have nothing! :frowning:

33, which is like a 1500-ish lol

@hgf23 They seem to be behind. I guess like other schools they have record number of applicants.

My D’s ACT converts to a 1550 new SAT. It’s still a lottery school for her and every other unhooked applicant.

Hey ya’ll, when you log onto selfservice.brown.edu, does this message appear?

Dear School of Public Health Applicant,
You may View your admission decision here. We thank you sincerely for your application to the Brown University School of Public Health.

Lol I did not apply to the School of Public Health and it won’t let me access the alleged decision. Is this just Brown screwing up their portal again like they did during the ED process?

@aidanmc9 yeah I think it happened to everybody.

I saw the same thing. It looks like they posted a message though, addressed to RD applicants, when you click on the “view your admission decision” button.

@aidanmc9 Yes, seeing that same Public Health applicant message here too.

Has anyone received an LL yet?

I’m surprised Brown hasn’t started releasing likely letters yet…
