@DryMango I understand your concern, but I made the account just to post here. I’m American, so I cannot provide any insight into the domestic/international question.
That makes sense. I wasn’t necessarily trying to discredit you, just pointing out that sometimes it’s good to be suspicious 
Received a likely letter Monday night: not an athlete, 1460 & 1480 SAT, 34 ACT w/ 35 superscore, 4.5 GPA w/ 4.0 unweighted, 10 APs by graduation, 770 Biology E SAT II, 720 Literature SAT II, 690 Math 2 SAT II (not good but I sent all of my scores anyway), my school doesn’t rank, first generation is my only hook, & decent extracurriculars - a few club leadership roles but nothing extremely special. I was very surprised to receive a letter. (Just for reference)

Does everyone have the “Personal Information” tab on their portal? I do but it disappeared for one of my friends…
@stresstasticlife I still have the personal information tab on mine! Maybe it’s a glitch that happened to him/her? (College portals are just so skeptical!)
@kalons yeah, I was thinking that it might be just another portal glitch that Brown is so famous for! I wish there was a “trick” or something to be able to tell if you got in or not a little early–like the UCSD housing trick!

What’s the “personal information” tab? I only have a “Student” tab…
@murpho for me, on the main menu of the portal, it shows a Personal Information, Student and Financial Aid tab.
Annnnnd, the Personal Information tab, when clicked on, displays the following message: “These options are intended only for enrolled Brown University students.”
Oh, and also for the student tab, there’s a box that says “For Summer 2016 and beyond, to search and add courses to your cart, use Brown’s new Course Search Tool - Courses@Brown.” Below is a link saying “Review My Application”.
@stresstasticlife Yeah, I only have one tab - “Student” (I didn’t apply for FA) and no Personal Information tab. I don’t remember if I ever had one though so I can’t say if it “disappeared”. The information/links on our Student tabs is the same. Maybe it’s just glitch.

Looking at last year’s RD discussion they figured out that people who didn’t apply for FA don’t have a Personal Information tab.
