Where was the list before?
I don’t remember ever having the list but maybe that’s bc I applied ED?
My sister goes to brown and it’s gonna really suck when i get rejected lol
do you guys know how much they weight legacies?

@balletgirl17 that’s happened to me already at another school where my sis goes.
It sucks right now, but it’s because of internal feelings. I don’t think I’ve gotten past my own disappointment yet to recognize my family members’ lol
@balletgirl17 I feel you, pal. The best thing to do (perhaps I should take my own advice when I say this) is to know you did all you could do in the years leading up to this decision, and, as my dad says, you should be so proud of yourself for knowing that, if you DO get rejected (the statistics for my admission are not high, so I most likely will), you were a candidate. You will go so far in life, and I will be there cheering you on every step of the journey… figuratively, of course.

Does anyone know what percentage of Brown ED deferred applicants get accepted in the RD round?
@highsch00lstress I was reading one of the brown threads, and they said near the other Ivies which are 4%…

Supposedly it’s about the same as regular RD applicants, about 8%
Not sure if this is just a glitch. But, when my son logged into his portal yesterday, the original checklist was gone. He also could see an option to add courses. This might be just a mistake. Does anyone see something like this?

@biomath2 I saw the same thing on my D’s portal and wondered about it too. Fingers crossed!
Mine says: Caution For Summer 2016 and beyond, to search and add courses to your cart, use Brown’s new Course Search Tool - Courses@Brown.
@ScaredofSchool Same. Idk if it means something or if it is a common Brown Portal glitch.
@anaheim My son’s portal shows the same message as above…
It seems like it is a generic change for all applicants. I have the same message.
It’s on my daughter’s too. You can find it when you click on the “Applicant and Student” link. It reads: “For Summer 2016 and beyond, to search and add courses to your cart, use Brown’s new Course Search Tool - Courses@Brown.” Guessing it’s probably the same now on everyone’s. Though I’d love it to mean she’s in.
