Anyone have any good tips for refocusing oneself? I seriously need to study for physics but I can’t stop stressing over college decisions. This week is brutal.
can you guys log into this link? https://get.cbord.com/brown/full/prelogin.php
@2021college2017 yeah
Um, I was kinda confused over this and was wondering if y’all have some insight: do you think it’s likely for a student who is not in top 10%, has average SATs, and takes very few AP/Honors courses to get accepted to Brown ED if they skipped junior year of high school through online classes? Like, does skipping a year of high school have a huge positive impact on college decisions? Just wondering!!
@2021college2017 I got a message that reads “Login successful but we were unable to access your campus card account. Please contact support.”
@2021college2017 no, it’s not letting me log in:(
I got the same message as @TheCrimsonBulldog … @ibpoetrytea did you get this message as well? or were you not even able to log in?
@TheCrimsonBulldog Got the same message
@TheCrimsonBulldog Same here, also very creative Harvard-Yale allusion with your username, Lol!
got the same message when i logged in
@ibpoetrytea I can’t say much about not actual statistics (GPA, few APs, etc.) but I’m graduating early too–skipped my junior year. When I went to a Brown admissions info session in my city, I specifically asked if I would be at a disadvantage and the lady said no as long as I explained my circumstances in the app. In fact, she seemed more impressed than other schools I talked to like Columbia; their person frowned upon it and said they wish I would have “stayed to experience more.”
I logged in and didn’t get the message. It was a proper functioning page, I think. But I strongly believe that’s just because I attended Summer@ Brown.
I logged in and got the message… I think you have to be enrolled at Brown to access anything.
@johonmilla People are saying that their email said decisions would be out 5 or 5:30, not saying that they GOT the email then.
@johonmilla Nooo, we’re talking about at what time decisions are supposed to come out! Some people’s emails say 5:00 and some say 5:30
does anyone from brown 2020 or past years have any insight on this? we don’t need to freak each other out with wild theories.
The same thing was done last year, and it doesn’t look like it meant anything
They are trying to load balance their servers.
It’s pretty clear that it is completely meaningless and only based on those who are international and in the Northeast versus the rest of the US. So don’t worry about it!
I went into my student portal on the selfservice website and I clicked on the Biology placement test and recieved the message, “The Chemistry Placement Exam is not intended for special students.” Do you guys have this option? and if so, what does yours say when you click on it?
