@greenstudent If you haven’t already you should definitely resend that email because he probably missed it and it would be very bad for you if he assumes you just never answered and don’t want an interview.
@MALABARCOAST2014 It seems like alumni suggest where they prefer to interview. My Brown interview was in Starbucks, but my Yale interview was at the interviewer’s house.
@ricka8 I’ve left it a short while but now I’m going to email and sort of remind them. Thanks. Any idea how to word it? I can’t just resend my original email because I refer to something specific to the time of sending.
“Hi, just checking in to see when you would like to meet for our interview. I’m free any evening this week, or all day Saturday”
something like that
@greenstudent You should attach your original email so he knows you sent something and he can see it. Just say what jilpnk said above but say more like:
Hi, I was just checking with you because I never received a reply to my email sent x days ago (and show it below this message) and am very interested in an interview for Brown. Please let me know when we can meet for our interview… and then say in case you did not see this email, I will include it below.
@jillpnk @ricka8 Thanks for the help. They replied to my email and now I have a phone interview tomorrow, eek
@greenstudent that’s great! Good luck with your interview!
should i be worried if i havent gotten an interview request yet?
My kid is still waiting to hear about an interview at Brown as well.
Just had mine (phone interview), for some reason I got really anxious during it but I think it went well.
Same here on the waiting to hear about an interview. My son has not been contacted yet.
My son was contacted today about scheduling his interview so they are still scheduling.
Had my interview today. It went pretty well ~30 min
Had my interview today! Went AMAZING. Was about an hour and 40 minutes
Does anyone know how we can change the address on the application? We are moving in a couple of days and want to make sure we dont miss out on any communication. Appreciate any help.
I know it’s too soon to start stressing… but I’m curious. Anyone know when Brown will release decisions?
@PinkQuetzal9 i believe it’s March 31st, so yes, definitely way too soon to start with the stress…hang in there!!
On Brown’s site: 2017 Regular Decision Applicants: Regular decisions will be available on March 30, 2017.
Okay, good because my birthday is on April 3rd and I didn’t want to spend it stressed.
@hhjjlala It’s a relief to hear that your interview was also around 30 minutes like mine! I thought mine went pretty well, but everyone here seemed to have much longer interviews.
