Mine’s gone too
@Aspiringacademic Yeah you have a shot! But your high school stats and SAT score are low. I think that Brown is a reach for anyone at this point but it looks like you pulled it together for college. Good luck! Also, they were released the 9th last year a little after 3 p.m.
the 9th was a Wednesday last year, which is the 8th this year. Hopefully they release on the 8th before one of my deposits is due
has anyone received a likely letter? I heard that someone from a state school got a letter indicating that they would be accepted, but after reading this thread am skeptical. nobody has heard, right?
@transferperson6 I’ve never heard of likely letters for transfers. Anything could happen, but I’m always skeptical about things like that.
Even if it were true that’s definitely nothing to worry about. The vast majority of people admitted don’t receive any indication of their acceptance before they receive their actual decision
DD received an email last week saying they would be sending out decisions soon. I think y’all received the same one.
I heard from one CC Transfer being asked to interview, which threw me off since I thought they didn’t interview Transfer candidates.
CORRECTION: Just found out that he was applying through the RUE Program which does indeed hold interviews.
Well well, still waiting on that Email. Anyone know when Brown typically releases transfer decisions?
No, but the checklist is definitely gone!
Last year decisions came out Wednesday May 9th around 3:15pm. So they’ll probably be out next Wednesday!
Was the year before a Wednesday as well?
@36Biscuit No, it was a Thursday
Hey! If you check your portal (for me at least), it just says:
_________, thank you for applying to Brown University!
To view your Financial Aid application status, please visit Banner Self-Service. If you have trouble logging in, please contact the IT Service Center at (401) 863-4357. Office hours can be found here.
Everything else is gone, so I think we’re getting decisions really soon.
Yeah, I have that too. Also, the Banner Self-Service is exactly the one I have at my current college. I don’t know if this was here before, but hopefully it is a good sign.
I think it was there before, but the fact that on Monday the checklist disappeared and today everything else disappeared is a good sign. I was thinking maybe today or Friday? What does everyone else think?
Banner s. has been there for a long time.
I was even able to browse course offerings a month ago through Banner.
just checked, said today at noon
Rejected ?
