Brown University Transfer/ Leaving UChicago

Hello, I'm a current second year Physics Major at UChicago.

I'm applying to Brown and throwing in a few other schools, and was wondering if anybody had some input on my application.

Basic Stats:

Major GPA : 3.50 (I'm not sure what the average for physics majors, but the requirement for honors is 3.0, rumor puts it at ~2.9, and most classes curve to a B: 3.0 or B: 2.7 )

Cumulative GPA : 3.581 (Grades ranging from B to A, UChicago doesn't give A+).

Extracurriculars : 16-24+ hours a week working for the physics department, heavy participant in the University Theater Company including directing and leading roles, and a member of the Society of Physics Students.

Work Experience: Research Assistant for UChicago's Physics Department, Visiting Researcher at Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso in Italy this summer (part of an international dark matter detector collaboration), currently working for the South Pole Telescope Collaboration, Visiting Researcher at The University of Wyoming (Summer of 2012), Research Assistant at Montefiore Medical Center (Summer 2013).

High School GPA : 97.5/100 (My Old High School didn't use the 4.0 scale)

Composite ACT : 31

List of Transfer Applications:

Brown
Stanford (Not holding my breath)
UPenn
Harvard (Not holding my breath)
Yale (Not holding my breath)
UC Berkeley

I'm very confident in my essay writing abilities, and have some professors I was very close with willing to write letters of recommendation.

So, any thoughts?

<a href=“Student Profile - Office of Undergraduate Admissions”>http://admissions.berkeley.edu/studentprofile</a> indicates that Berkeley’s transfer students had an average prior college GPA of 3.77. I would expect the rest of your list to be even more selective for transfer admissions.
