Brown v. Yale v. Penn

Hi everyone, I'm trying to decide on a first choice to do some kind of early action/decision. I think I have a reasonable shot at both Brown and Penn ED but even SCEA a slim shot at Yale. I think I'd be roughly equally happy at any of them but am having trouble making a clear choice. Any advice and a chance for those three would be great.

Interested in Biology/Cognitive Science maybe some Econ thrown in.

Basically you have a chance for all three, since it is difficult to simply go from what amounts to a set of numbers. Plus we don't know what these schools are looking for in a given year. Given this school set you may get in to one an not the others just because of their basic appeals. If you are tuly indifferent, I would do an ED and the SCEA. That way you get the boost from the ED and the SCEA. Of course if the ED came through and the SCEA came through you could not go to Yale.

Yale Brown and Penn are REALLY REALLY different from each other!

Good luck -- they are all definite reaches. There are so many qualified candidates who apply.

you can't do ED and SCEA because SCEA allows you only to apply 1 one early college aside from publics

Bump.Bump.

penn doesn't seem to quite fit with yale & brown, but to each their own

I know many kids who applied to those three. My feeling is the same as yours. Yale is a remote chance even SCEA. You would have a better chance at either Penn or Brown. My personal opinion is that I would go with the one where you have the best chance if you truly feel you would have no regrets committing to any one of them. There is a lot to gain getting early notification to a top school as any of them are.

Ok...so my opinion is that you have the best chance at Brown and Penn. I can see that most of the above posts seem to agree. My question to you is....Have you visited each campus? Where do you WANT to go, NOT where are you most likely to get in. You seem to be a qualified applicant for sure.
Good Luck!
Go for it!
chance me back...Thanks :)
