I know that Brown has high reputation in liberal arts and sciences, but how is it rated for engineering, in particular for Electrical Engineering?
I am in Junior year in high school and plan to apply to Brown, MIT and Princeton. I feel that my chance for admission are the best at Brown among the three. I will also apply to WPI and Tufts, both of which seem to even more definite, more likely to give me better financial aid or scholarships. If Brown electrical engineering is only marginally better than that at WPI or Tufts, I don’t wnat my parents spending the extra sum for Brown. Please let me know. Thanks.

not Brown, dude. not for engineering.

Actually, Brown has a very good engineering department.

you really overestimate it

regarding Tufts, I don't know whether you're talking about financial aid or merit based aid....but I've heard that Tufts doesn't give merit based aid. (If someone could confirm this, that'd be cool).

You should also look into Olin. If you are only a junior, then why not apply to all you have mentioned and see where you get in. By then, you would have had more time to get to know each of the schools.
