Brown vs. amherst vs. williams

I think language is a major weak point at Williams, I don't know about Brown (strength?) Amherst has itself a fairly limited language department but through the 5-college consortium has an enormous wealth of opportunities, probably surpassing Brown (if you do not have a problem with utilizing the 5-college consortium, the language opportunities will be near-endless. Which languages are you interested in, particularly? I suggest you look through the Williams,Amherst, and Brown course catalogues, as well as http://www.fivecolleges.edu/sites/courses/ http://www.umass.edu/fclang/jointcourses.html http://www.umass.edu/fclang/fcsilp.html

I was unclear from your post whether you are specifically interested in Asian languages, if so, I'm sorry, I know very little about any of them, but Chinese/Japanese should be offered at all three schools.
