Hello. I'm on the fence between which college to choose now that I have been accepted to all three of them. I plan on to go to medical school and was considering majoring in Neuroscience.
Brown University is an Ivy league school which can't be ignored. University of Chicago is ranked top in the nation. Washington University in St. Louis is also ranked high on top of having the third best medical school in the nation. All of these colleges are great but I want to know which one would help me the most get into the top medical schools in the nation granted that I still continue to get good grades. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

What school you attend for undergrad has little effect on your med school admission. The two most important criteria are your GPA and MCAT scores. All 3 of these elite schools, with a high GPA and MCAT, research and solid interviews could land you a spot in a premier med school. Go with the school that will be the best fit and cost the least.

Brown has an open curriculum and UChicago has a core curriculum. At Brown you will have greater flexibility to choose exactly those classes you will enjoy taking and that might result in a higher overall GPA – it’s hard to get top grades in a classes you don’t enjoy.
