Brown?

I'm applying to Brown using my QB app in place of the Common App / Brown Supplement. I wanted to know how to have an account created to track my application since you have to submit the Brown Supplement to do that (but I'm not submitting the supplement), so I e-mailed Brown about it and got this response:

"We welcome your interest in the University and regret that because of
the volume of electronic mail we receive it is not possible for us to
provide personal responses to our most common requests.

All applicants for undergraduate admission are required to submit the
appropriate versions of the Common Application and the Brown
Supplement to the Common Application. Please visit the "Applicants"
section on the Admission page on Brown's website
Brown University Admission where you will find the
'Guide to Applying to Brown' along with the answer to many of your
questions."

However, in their QB FAQ they state that the QB app takes place of both the CommonApp and Brown Supplement, so I know that that isn't true.

Does anybody else have any information about this? I would really like to get an account so that I may track what materials have and have not been sent to Brown yet.

Thanks!

I e-mailed them to check on this too. We do not have to submit the CommonApp, only forward the QB app. Best of luck

Cool, thanks. But how do we get an account to check the status of our application then? Did they tell you that?

Thanks for the response!

Here’s all they told me…

So I guess we won’t be able to track it??? Don’t know… Sorry :(

Okay, thanks for the help anyway. Good luck getting in!

They might* send you application tracking info after you forward the QB app. Yale does this with NCM applicants.
