does the photo we send in have to be 2 x 2? Can we send in one that's a little bit bigger?

please try to stay within the guidelines...I work at the bcard office and I've been checking everyones pictures and we have been denying alot of them because they arent within our guidelines...so just to be safe...have it be 2x2..though a little bit bigger might not be a problem...but really dont trust me on that because I cant have a final say until i see a hardcopy of the picture

just scan it and shrink it/crop it xD

I'd like myself and my dog in it...is that oK?

lmao I don't think you can have your dog sry man... I think the requirement is you are the only one in the picture...

it's you, against a white background.
basically a passport photo. not a personal statement ;)
just go to your local photo place for a passport photo, or take it yourself against a white wall and crop it.

cant they just take a pic of you @ orientation? if i do that, how long does it last to get my id?

you can get a picture at orientation but you will have to wait in a very long line and you will not get a picture retake..so whatever you get the first time is your picture. So if you are really picky about how you want your picture to look send in a photo in advance. Once you actually take the picture you will have the card in like a minute :)...though the line you wait in to actually get to that point is another story
