But, I did everything correctly. Did anyone else get this?

It's next to the orientation confirmation.

I was hoping they weren’t rejecting my picture but now that you have the same error I feel a lot better! ha

I’m planning on calling tomorrow. Thats prob just a standard message so they hold all the Bruin cards until June 10. (I’m assuming ^& hope) I imagine they can’t send the Bruin cards out until the SIR deadline is final…

post a screenshot

hm, mine was accepted. just thought id let you guys know that theyre not rejecting everyone’s.

http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/1443/bruincardstatus.jpg

Was it the right size? I read somewhere that it had to be a certain size

Must be 2x2 exactly. I haven’t sent mine in yet…

It is high resolution, 2" by 2" (yes, I even measured it), white background, etc. I signed the terms in ink if I recall, and I certainly wrote my UID on the back of the photo.

Was it suppose to be matte? I got it glossy.

However, it says on [New Bruins - BruinCard - UCLA Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/NewBruins/Bruincard.htm) that the status won’t be posted until June 10th, 2010.

mine was exactly 2 x 2!

mine was accepted and it was glossy. i measured it 2x2 and white background. i signed the paper with a ball point pen.

hrm… weird.

sukanas- how do you know yours was accepted? does it say so specifically on myucla?

I remember reading some other requirements like you can’t make funny faces or wear hats. Were you wearing a hat in the picture?

For the record, this is what mine says:
Thank you! We have received your photo and Terms & Conditions form. Your application will be processed as soon as possible. If there is ample time for prior processing, your BruinCard will be mailed approximately two weeks prior to the date of your Orientation session. Once your card has been mailed, you should see the date on which it was sent reflected here. If your card is not received in the mail prior to your Orientation session, a card will be available for pickup when you arrive at Orientation. If you are not attending Orientation, you may pick up your card at a BruinCard Center in September.
If you have any questions, contact BruinCard via email: bruincard@finance.ucla.edu or phone: (310) 825-2336.

Mine looks just like the one in the bottom right

http://www.bruincard.ucla.edu/bruincard_info/bad_photos.pdf

I signed the terms with a dark green pen, I really hope that’s not what caused it.

i got the same thing as ejdeha and i sent a slightly smaller picture than 2x2

Wow- I can’t believe they used my picture as the “No comical faces or gestures”- that was rude!

hey i kinda just realized that… these pictures are most likely ones that actual prospective students sent in… that’s kinda sad. I wonder if they at least asked permission to ridicule them lol.

That’s the price you pay for being a fool! ha ha ha.
