BruinCard Question

So it says we should send a picture for our BruinCard 5 weeks prior to our orientation session. Well I'm in Session 104 which is like...I don't know...sometime in late July? Like 20 something I think? Well anyways, I think it's like 4 weeks now. If I send it in tomorrow or Saturday, do you think it's still acceptable or will there be complications or other sorts of consequences?

do you have anything to lose by not sending it? xD

i believe if they don't receive it in time, you'll just have to wait in a long line at orientation to get your picture taken and your card made there.

If you can get to the campus, just go into the Bruincard office in Kerckhoff hall. I'm taking summer courses and I went in and had my card in under 2 minutes. They take the picture for you on the spot and even activate it for you.

Bah, I live an hour away from UCLA and there is no way I'm driving all the way there for a 2 minute picture and then leave.

I'm in session 104 and I mailed mine last Saturday.

This is from MyUcla, where they say that if you don't receive your card in the mail, a card will be available for pickup at orientation:

Thank you! We have received your photo and Terms & Conditions form. Your application will be processed as soon as possible. If there is ample time for prior processing, your BruinCard will be mailed approximately two weeks prior to the date of your Orientation session. Once your card has been mailed, you should see the date on which it was sent reflected here. If your card is not received in the mail prior to your Orientation session, a card will be available for pickup when you arrive at Orientation. If you are not attending Orientation, you may pick up your card at a BruinCard Center in September.

You can take it during orientation.
